Interview with Dr Donn Brennan - President of Ayurvedic Practitioners Association UK Dr Donn Brennan was born in Ireland. He
studied medicine at University College Dublin and worked in different specialities in hospitals in Ireland before moving to Lancashire where he worked as a GP. He is now an Ayurvedic practitioner and the founder president of the Ayurvedic Practitioners Association (ASA) in the UK. Th interview, conducted by Judith H Morrison asks how Dr Brennan became involved in Ayurveda, and discusses how and why the Ayurvedic Practitioners Association came to be set up as part of
a government initiative covering complementary medicine in general. One of its roles is to ensure that high standards of patient care and safety are observed, and that practitioners reach and continue to develop in accordance with those high standards through Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
