Welcome to Yoga & Health magazine by editor Jane Sill I have been enjoying Yoga for many years, having gone to my first class in 1975 at a local Adult Education Institute. In 1990, I trained as a teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga and, over the years, have been
very fortunate to have attended a number of training courses in Yoga run by a variety of different groups. I have also been very fortunate to have met with a number of respected teachers and Gurus since I became Editor of Yoga & Health in 1990. I feel it is important to keep an 'open mind' in Yoga while staying true to its classical roots. As Editor, I have always tried to maintain this openness of outlook, welcoming articles from
all traditions to allow readers to make up their own minds and to find a path which is most suitable to their needs. Yoga can be the source of well being for people of all ages and capacities and we hope the magazine will facilitate this for as wide an audience as possible. Reader interaction is very important and we try to reflect the broad range of Yoga which exists in the UK today while maintaining and developing close links with other countries throughout the world where the magazine is
also distributed. My thanks to all our readers and friends in the Yoga world who have helped to make this possible. If you would like to share your experience of Yoga with others, as teacher or student, please contact me - see contact page for details. We should love to hear from you.
