“After you have had a chance to make an evaluation of the child’s condition, then you can decide if it is better to continue one to one or to incorporate that child into a group class. An infant who has not yet acquired any basic motor skills will need to begin on a one to one basis. The absence of basic motor skills is indicative of early infancy, a mervous system dysfunction or extremely low or high muscle tone. Children with Down’s Syndrome and cerebral palsy also often need to begin working in a one to one class”.
